Living in our current world can be very challenging for women as we navigate a predominantly patriarchal culture. Most modern-day yoga comes from male lineages and are not necessarily designed specifically for the woman’s body.

Women’s bodies are inherently cyclical, and so it is important to honour those cycles. Many women are tired and exhausted, feeling disconnected from their innate cyclical wisdom.

Join Jane for her Luna Yoga Class series to learn how the phases of the moon impact our lives and how to adapt your yoga practice to align with the moon’s wisdom. The knowledge is simple yet profound. When we align our bodies and lifestyles with the lunar cycle, we flow with greater ease and fulfillment in life.

Luna Yoga has really helped me ground into the cycles of nature and find inner stillness. This has helped me access a deeper level of inner power and not be affected so much by the madness of the world.

Jane Mallick

Moon loving yogini

After a successful corporate career in social health research and educational studies, Jane experienced a major health crisis and turned to feminine yoga for healing. With forty years of yoga practice and over a decade of teaching experience, Jane is a dedicated and passionate yogini inspired by the sacred feminine.

After experiencing an early menopause from a stressful corporate career, Jane felt lost and disconnected from life.

As an avid gardener, Jane has followed the moon’s cycle for most of her adult life informing the planting and organisation and overall garden care. As she entered menopause, Jane’s found her yoga practice naturally aligning with the moon’s wisdom. This led her to create a unique yoga course, empowering women to connect with the feminine wisdom inherent in the moon cycle.

5 week series of classes.

Each class is designed to attune to the energy of the phases of the moon.

Course registration includes the Luna Yoga E-book, which provides an indepth outline of the energies of each week of the lunar month.

In each class we experience yoga practice ranging from slow gentle restorative yoga, to yin yoga through to more dynamic vinyassa tantra flow yoga.

Payments are non-refundable once a class series has commenced. Exceptions cannot be made for injury, illness, or personal emergencies.

Our non-refundable cancellation policy is in place to ensure the highest quality teaching and support can be delivered to all participants.

If you need to cancel before the Class Series commences due to  injury, illness, or personal emergencies, we offer upon request a 50% credit voucher for the next time that  Workshop or One-Day Retreat is run. This is valid for one year.

No refunds or credits are available for change of mind.

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel the class series, a full refund will be given.

Please bring the following:

  • Bolsters, cushions and blankets are available in the studio.
  • Your own yoga mat if you choose to. There are some mats in the studio if you don’t have one.Comfortable clothes and layers for your comfort, including a warm shawl or scarf.
  • Water bottle.

Tara Springs Retreat Centre is located in Taradale, a small town in half between Kyneton and Castlemaine and just 35 minutes from Daylesford.

It is easily accessible from most central victorian towns to attend this unique yoga experience.

We encourage car sharing with another woman if coming from similar directions.

And if it feels too far, remember I have my online Luna Yoga course.

All women are welcome. All levels of yoga experience are welcome.  If you are unsure, please contact Jane to discuss your needs and experiences to see if this class series is for you.

If you have any injuries or illnesses that impacts your ability to do yoga please ensure that you check in with your health professional that yoga is suitable for. Modifications can be offered.

The yoga that Jane Mallick offers is feminine yoga.

Some of her offerings, including (Luna Yoga, goddess Yoga and Seasonal Yin Yoga, and menopause offerings) are cis gender women only events, honouring the journey a woman has living in a cyclical body.

She also has more inclusive events where men and any persons who identify as women can come and explore the sacred feminine in yoga.

Jane teaches a gentle, nourishing, feminine style of yoga.

The yoga is non-traditional in that she teach a mix of styles and traditions that she has learnt in her 40 years of practicing yoga.

My formal yoga teacher training is in Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga, yin yoga and Tantra, and menopause yoga, all specialising in women.

Jane tends to use English terms and minimise the use of Sanskrit, to make the yoga as accessible as possible for a broad range of people.

We embrace what is to be a woman, in all aspects of our ‘changing’ cyclical nature and welcome all that we are in our emotional, mental, physical and spiritual body.

Janes teaching and coaching practice draws on my professional training and experience and expertise, in psychology and education, and my rich and varied life experiences.
