10.00am - 1.00pm
A sanctuary to slow down, tune in, and reconnect with your body's innate healing.
Women's only event

Experience deep rest and relaxation with seasonal yin yoga

Modern life requires us to be 'on' and productive most of the time. Subsequently, many of us are 'running on empty' with little or no time to prioritise self-care, leaving us out of balance and depleted.

Jane’s Seasonal Yin Yoga Immersions offer a sanctuary to slow down, tune in, and reconnect with your body’s innate healing.

When we align our bodies and lifestyles with the elements of the seasons, we flow with greater ease and fulfilment in life.

Join a community of women in a sacred circle to support each other, share experiences, and embrace the cyclical wisdom of nature and our bodies.

Jane’s Yin Yoga Workshops offer a deep connection with not only yourself, but the season. They allow contemplation, opening and deep relaxation. A melding of the mind, body, spirit and environment. For me, they have become anchor points in the busyness of the year.

Jane Mallick

Yin Yoga Teacher

After a successful corporate career in social health research and educational studies, Jane experienced a major health crisis that led her to yoga for healing. With 40 years of dedicated yoga practice and 12 years of teaching, Jane is a passionate and experienced yogini who brings a wealth of knowledge and empathy to her students.

In 2014 Jane discovered yin yoga, a practice that profoundly changed her life. Yin yoga is a mindfulness practice that journeys deep into the body, mind, and psyche, unearthing deep tensions and helping release them to bring greater flexibility and flow in life.

Jane believes that aligning our practice with the seasonal cycles of nature supports greater harmony, ease and flow. Her teachings are designed to help women connect with these cycles, fostering a deep sense of well-being and balance.

Tara Springs Retreat Centre is located in Taradale, a small town in Central Victoria, nestled in a beautiful valley with oak-lined streets and a old established mineral springs park.

It is part of the eastern end of the Great Dividing Range and the sacred Leanganook / Mt Alexander can be seen just to the north and Geburrh / Mt Macedon to the south. It is surrounded by the box ironbark forests of the Central Victorian region and it’s location is what gives it beautiful sweet mountain air and sense of spaciousness.

It is about 100km north-west of Melbourne CBD and 45km south-east of Bendigo. It is a 15min drive to both Castlemaine and Kyneton, and 25min to Hepburn / Daylesford.

How can I get there?

By car from Melbourne: take the Calder Freeway (M79) towards Bendigo. Take the Malmsbury turnoff onto the Old Calder Highway (C794) to Taradale.

By car from Bendigo: take the Calder Freeway (M79) towards Melbourne. Take the Castlemaine turnoff onto the Pyrenees Highway (B180) towards Castlemaine before turning onto the Old Calder Highway (C794) to Taradale.

By train: Melbourne-Bendigo line to Malmsbury, which is 7km from Taradale.

Pickup from the train station is possible by arrangement.

All levels of yoga experience is welcomed to this workshop.

Yin Yoga can be viewed as a more ‘advanced’ practice, where it requires some mind-body awareness. If you are unsure, please contact Jane to discuss your needs and experiences to see if this workshop is for you.

This workshop is a deep journey into self healing, and it is important to allow time for integration. Please ensure that you schedule some time to your self over the following days so as the integrate the healing and changes.

Can I practice with an injury.

Yes, in the majority of cases you can still practice some form of yoga.

Yoga Asana (physical postures) may even be recommended by a medical professional, physiotherapist or chiropractor to make yoga part of your lifestyle to assist with recovery of an injury or to help reduce stress and muscle tension. Please check with your medical practitioner before doing any of the practices offered.

And remember yoga is not limited to asana or physical postures. In many of my courses and events I share diverse yoga practices include meditation, mudra, mantra, yantra, ritual and Self-inquiry.

Please ensure that you complete an up – to- date registration form to inform the teacher of any health issues or injuries you need support with.
