Experience deep rest and healing

Join Jane Mallick and Suzi Van Dorenmalen for an afternoon of Yin Yoga and Reiki.

Life can be so busy that it can be hard to prioritise our health and our self care. Many of us are exhausted and depleted.

This beautiful half day immersion offers you the space and the time to reset your priorities.

You will experience the deep and profound healing of yin yoga and reiki leaving you empowered with self-care practices and feeling trusting and optimistic for the future.

The practices we do will help you identify your priorities and self-care practices to take forward in life.

Jane’s Yin Yoga workshops are warm and welcoming. Whether you are a beginner, or someone who has practiced yoga a lot, there really is something for everyone here. It is very nourishing taking time out for yourself, and the positive after effects reverberate long after the workshop.

Tara Springs Retreat Centre is located in Taradale, a small town in Central Victoria, nestled in a beautiful valley with oak-lined streets and a old established mineral springs park. It is part of the eastern end of the Great Dividing Range and the sacred Leanganook / Mt Alexander can be seen just to the north and Geburrh / Mt Macedon to the south. It is surrounded by the box ironbark forests of the Central Victorian region and it’s location is what gives it beautiful sweet mountain air and sense of spaciousness.

It is about 100km north-west of Melbourne CBD and 45km south-east of Bendigo. It is a 15min drive to both Castlemaine and Kyneton, and 25min to Hepburn / Daylesford.

How can I get there?

By car from Melbourne: take the Calder Freeway (M79) towards Bendigo. Take the Malmsbury turnoff onto the Old Calder Highway (C794) to Taradale.

By car from Bendigo: take the Calder Freeway (M79) towards Melbourne. Take the Castlemaine turnoff onto the Pyrenees Highway (B180) towards Castlemaine before turning onto the Old Calder Highway (C794) to Taradale.

By train: Melbourne-Bendigo line to Malmsbury, which is 7km from Taradale.

Pickup from the train station is possible by arrangement.

Everyone is welcome to this event.

No yoga experience is necessary. However, Yin Yoga can be viewed as a more ‘advanced’ practice, where it requires some mind-body awareness. If you are unsure, please contact Jane to discuss your needs and experiences to see if this workshop is for you.

This workshop is a deep journey into self healing, and it is important to allow time for integration. Please ensure that you schedule some time to your self on the Saturday evening and Sunday so as the integrate the healing and changes.
